Talacre Beach Activity
From Friday 20 March, residents and visitors may notice increased construction activity on Talacre Beach for a period of approximately 48 hours (subject to site conditions).
During this time, a pipe conduit will be positioned onto the beach and pulled into place. For safety reasons, people are advised to stay away from the construction area during this period. Additional security measures will be in place to divert beach users where necessary.
These works form part of the early PoA Cable Route Foreshore Works, which include the installation of new electric and fibre-optic cables between the PoA Terminal and the New Douglas Offshore CCS Platform. You can find out more about the PoA developments here: https://hynethub.co.uk/poa
