From Monday 30 March, there will be increased activity on Talacre Beach due to works associated with the burial of the pipe conduit.
To ensure safety during this phase, visitors are advised to stay away from the construction area. Additional security measures will be in place to divert beach users where necessary.
Warren Farm and Talacre Beach Activity
Construction works at Warren Farm and Talacre Beach are ongoing. Some of this work will take place for 12 hours a day, from 7am to 7pm. Other activities need to be carried out 24 hours a day to ensure the project can be completed safely and as efficiently as possible. Activity that requires 24 hour working is expected to last for approximately one more week, subject to project progress.
Residents may notice associated construction noise and equipment, with an increase in vehicle movements in and out of the area.
These works form part of the PoA Cable Route Foreshore Works, which include the installation of new electric and fibre-optic cables between the PoA Terminal and the New Douglas Offshore CCS Platform. You can find out more about the PoA developments here: https://hynethub.co.uk/poa
